Echo was born into a rouge family, where she had two brothers. Her father was cruel and cold to everyone but their mother, he did not care about her or her siblings. Eventually, their mother, Cloud, saw this in her mate and ran off with the three of them, but Shade caught her in the middle of it, and was furious. Shade charged for Echo, Bush, and Frost, planning to kill all three of them, but Cloud stepped between him and the kits. Shade ended up biting Cloud's neck, not realizing it was his mate. Once he realized, Shade was horrified of what he did and ran off, leaving the three four moon old kits to fend for themselves.The threesome were heartbroken and horrified that their father killed Cloud, and they ran off in the opposite direction of Shade. Two moons later, Bush and Frost left Echo to fend for herself, and she has not seen them since. She took her warrior name after her brother, as he was trying to convince Bush to stay with her.
