The fresh-kill pile (main thread)

Hailstar set the rabbit she had caught into the shallow dip where all of the prey was stored. She looked at the pile and decided that she should eat. She picked up a fish she had caught earlier in the day and layed down. As she chewed on the fish she enjoyed the warm sunlight against her pelt and wished that Ice was still here. The old tomcat had been great company, espeicilly to her because she had never had anyone. She finished her fish and streched before returning to her duties.

Echofrost padded up to the fresh kill pile and set down the two fish she had been carrying from the river.

Hailstar set down the fish she had been carrying. She licked the fishy smell off of her muzzle, glad she could talk without her voice being muffled.

Echofrost picked up a fish and sat down to eat her prey. The young warrior gulped it down in a few swift bites, and rose to her paws to pad off,

"Echofrost! We need you!" Hailstar called. "There is a fox on the moor!" She said frantically. She dashed to the camp entrance to get to the moor fast. The leader didn't act like one at all, esspecially not now.

"What?!!?!" Echofrost yelped and darted after her leader. A fox... Ugh, I hate foxes... She thought, remembering the run in she had with one when she was a loner.

"Come on!" Hailstar yelled. "We have to get there before it comes any closer to camp!" She called over her shoulder. "You need to come too Gingerflame." She mewed.

"Ok, coming!" Gingerflame called, dashing after Hailstar and Echofrost. "Should I lead the way?" She asked, coming up besides Hailstar.

"Alright Gingerflame, lead the way." Hailstar said and dropped back besides Echofrost. She kept steady pace so that they could get to the moor as fast as possible.

Echofrost padded along beside the leader, keeping pace as they followed Gingerflame to the fox. The warrior was a bit nervous to meet the fox truthfully, but she knew they could beat it.

"Whats going on?" The white she-cat asked as she saw the others rushing away. The warrior dashed to catch up with the others before asking again, "What's going on?"

"We are going to the moor so we can drive away a fox that has invaded the territory." Hailstar stated, still keeping her pace. "We need to drive it out and then we should warn the other Clans at the gathering." She meowed, sounding like she was giving an order when really she was slightly weary of finding that fox.

"A FOX?!?!?!" Cherrytail asked, panicking slightly as she sped up a bit. She did not like foxes at all, and if one was on their territory, it did not bode well for them.
